Vajra Sol’s Costa Rica Yoga Retreats Overview
The Yoga and Surf Retreat is popular for the more active person keen on learning to surf and to spent a blissful week on the beach. As an alternative to surfing, we offer the Pure Yoga Retreat option with two yoga sessions a day. For a relaxing getaway and to have an authentic rainforest experience at an impressive ecolodge we invite you on the Pacuare Rainforest Yoga Retreat. For the adventurous person we have specialty Yoga & Adventure Retreats in Costa Rica and Peru.
We host our retreats at different locations in Costa Rica to offer our guests a variety in accommodations and type of retreats. They have been selectively chosen to meet our standard and style.
These aspects include:
- They are a smaller hotel or lodge (less than 25 rooms) of the higher caliber with attention to detail yet not luxurious.
- They are surrounded by nature in a serene, tranquil setting outside of a town or in a more remote location.
- They operate under the premise of sustainable tourism and employ local staff.
- The restaurant serves healthy and delectable food.
- The yoga space is impressive with views, is open-air and has comfortable wooden floors.
- The ambiance is conducive to fully relaxing and letting go into the moment.

Group Size
Each retreat is limited to 12 persons to maintain a comfortable group size and to allow us to focus on quality and personalized attention to our guests. There is a minimum of five persons required to hold a retreat. The majority of those who join our retreats travel solo before becoming part of the group. Please feel very welcome to come on your own. You will have a wonderful time!

A pervasive theme on our retreats is a focus on your connection with nature and to appreciate the natural world for what it offers to us. We place a high importance on upholding the environmental and social practices of a responsible traveler and choose hotels, tour operators and other service providers that show an effort to minimize adverse effects on the environment where and when possible.

This retreat is ideal for those seeking a mini-getaway to relax and rebalance the body, mind and spirit. The retreat is held at a very unique and spectacular ecolodge surrounded by a 740-acre private nature reserve in the heart of the Pacuare rainforest. Included in the retreat is a guided rainforest hike and a zipline canopy tour. Optional activities include horseback riding, canyoning, rafting and to receive a massage. You will eat well, enjoy the views, meet new friends, swing in a hammock and take the personal time you need to just Be.
