Payment and Cancelation Policy
A non-refundable US $500 deposit confirms a reservation. Full payment is due 45 days prior to the first date of the retreat.
Should a guest need to cancel her/his reservation more than 45 days before the first day of the retreat, there will be the options to:
- Transfer 100% of the $500 deposit to another retreat within one year; or,
- Receive a refund for the deposit, less a $50 administrative and processing fee.
Should a guest need to cancel her/his reservation between 45 and 31 days before the first day of the retreat, there will be the options to:
- Transfer 100% of payment made to another Santa Teresa retreat within one year; or,
- Receive a refund for full payment less a $150 processing and administrative fee.
Should a guest need to cancel 30 days or less prior to the first day of the retreat, for whatever reason, we will not be able to provide a refund or credit for any payment.
No refund or credit will be given for arriving late or departing a retreat early or for meals/activities in which one does not participate. In the unlikely event Vajra Sol needs to cancel a retreat a full refund will be given.
If force majeure (e.g. pandemic, natural disaster, government travel restrictions, etc.) causes a retreat to be canceled, alternative dates will be offered to reschedule the retreat within one year and 100% of the guest payment will be transferred to the rescheduled retreat. In this case, when a retreat cannot be held due to causes beyond our control, no refund of payments can be provided if it is 30 days or less before the retreat.
We strongly advise on the purchase of travel insurance at the time of booking your retreat in the case of any unexpected events or changes to your plans before or during your trip.
We recommend travel insurance with iTravelInsured which is affiliated with IMG (International Medical Group). You may customize what you need for travel and/or international emergency medical insurance. Check with your home health insurance provider to see if and for what you are covered when traveling outside your home country.
It is our best intention to lessen the concerns around booking a retreat by offering additional flexibility with retreat cancelations in this era of COVID-19 travel.
