What is the weather like in Austrian Alps in March?

For spring skiing in the Arlberg region of the Austrian Alps, expect sunny days with fresh snow. The mountains in this area get some of the most snow in all the Alps. Daytime temperatures are typically mild with a probability of snowfall.

Can I join the retreat if I do not ski?

Yes, of course. While skiing is the main activity, the Arlberg Resort is a winter wonderland that offers a rich array of non-skiing activities. Here’s an overview of what awaits beyond skiing the slopes.

Active & Outdoor: Winter Hiking & Snowshoeing,
Tobogganing Fun, Horse-Drawn Sleigh Rides, Cross-Country Skiing & Ice Skating

Cultural & Indoor:
Village Strolls & Boutique Shopping, Skyspace art installation and light observatory, Spa Treatments, Art Galleries, Musical Performances, Mountain Huts & Hot Chocolate Sipping in Cafes.
What is the minimum/maximum group size?

The minimum number of people required to run the retreat is 10. The retreat is limited to about 16 persons to ensure an optimal group travel experience and personalized attention for each guest (actual size depends on the number of single and double rooms we have). Many guests who join our retreats are single/solo travelers. Please feel very welcome to come on your own. It will be an incredible experience!

What is the reservation, payment, and cancelation policy?

A non-refundable US $1,500 deposit confirms your reservation.

Full payment is due no later than December 5, 2025. Should you need to cancel your reservation before this date, you will receive a refund for payment made less the deposit. Should you need to cancel after the final payment due date, for whatever reason, we will not be able to provide a refund, transfer, or credit. The exception is if we can rebook your spot. In this case, the deposit less $175 can be refunded, or we can offer a full credit towards a future Vajra Sol retreat within one year. It is not guaranteed that your spot will be rebooked. No refund or credit will be given for arriving late, departing the retreat early, or for meals/activities in which one does not participate.

If force majeure (e.g., pandemic, natural disaster, country travel restrictions, etc.) causes a retreat to be canceled, we will offer a rescheduled date for the retreat. In this case, there is no refund of payments when a retreat cannot be held due to causes beyond our control. If you are unable to join at the rescheduled date, a portion of your payment may be applicable for a transfer to a different retreat in the future. This will be determined at the time and depends on factors such as how far out it is from the retreat date.

In the unlikely event Vajra Sol needs to cancel a retreat for nonforce majeure reasons, a full refund will be given. Vajra Sol will not be held accountable for expenses incurred by the guest for any type of cancelation.

If you have any questions about your travel plans, feel free to contact us with have any questions.

This cancelation policy is subject to change until a reservation is confirmed.

Guest Reviews

trip advisor

“By far, the best was meeting new friends and spending time with new people getting to know them all over a week of learning, laughing, playing and socializing. We had a truly magnificent week overall. This was our 5th trip with Vajra Sol we always look forward to Sandra’s next adventure!”

- Chris, Ontario

Our goal was to get deeper into our (beginning) yoga practice in a beautiful, peaceful setting. We joined a wonderful group, who quickly became friends. Sandra was outstanding as a teacher … We were very diverse in age, experience, gender and background, yet Sandra connected with us all very quickly and (seemingly) effortlessly. As a wonderful bonus, she organized complementary activities for each of us that fit beautifully with our interests and abilities.

- Helen & Bill, Montana

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this experience, it is life changing … There is a perfect mix of relaxation and activity. Sandra is an amazing yoga teacher and teaches to all levels. I am an experienced yogi but there were also those who had little to no experience and they did great. The staff was warm and friendly. The food was superb. Definitely do not hesitate to book this trip.
